Magnex exhaust availability

[Clean 2.0 nova]

I have read in recent posts that many people have fitted a Magnex exhaust. I am after a Magnex full system for a 2.0 nova, but I can't find a nova system listed anywhere, and also my local supplier says magnex don't and have never made a system for a nova. :confused: Am I missing something or do people use a corsa magnex system? Ultimately i'm after a quiet exhaust, if anyone can suggest an alternative.

Try Mongoose, they are very similar to magnex.

magnex no longer make exhaust for nova's anymore, i got one of the last systems for my old nova...

and i never made one for 2.0 16v's, you had to mod it to fit them, also like i had to do

Yeah as said they no longer make them, i also had one of the very last systems ever made (got if from them for ?108 delivered) and IMO Magnex stuff is pish anyway, i found the fit was dire

mine was 80 delivered... :p

and i think the fit was perfect, but mine was a mk2 system, not sure if that makes a diff

Do you mean the mongoose exhausts are quiet-ish also?

Well my magnex was so ****e, i kept it on for ages, loved the noise it made, and i don't even want to sell it now that i have a different system...

If you can find one mate i'd go with it as they are good systems. I have one, but don't wanna sell it lol

The baffles on my magnex system have gone twice now (rattly sound) for no reason, Lifetime guarantee is a joke, sent it to them and they said it must have been scraped or hit the floor, twice, when its never been hit. When it was working 100% it made a really nice sound though.

Fitted mongoose exhaust but it is mega loud. Took it to garage to check for any leaks but everything was fine. All they could suggest was that the various boxes weren't large enough. They have built 2.0 novas and said they are generally loud in a nova. So is my only option to take it to a specialist exhaust place to see if they can remedy it. The exhaust is very loud anywhere above tick over.

Suprising that, mongoose usually have larger boxes.

I guess it depends what you call loud tho.
