hi iv just bought a nova and it has eletric windows the drives side one gos down about an inch then stops others fine eney idears guys thanks steve :thumb:

Take the doorcard off and see if its getting stuck anywhere.

motor???? or has 1 of the teeth came off the regulator??

the window will have slightly dropped , prob a loose rivit on the mech

just push the window slightly when its goin down , will be just like every other nova then lol

put all new rivets in yestaday its not motor summets making it stiff

Spray some lube (oh eer) in the seal where the window runs, worked a treat on mine.

Is it rubbing on the door seals? Perhaps the door has been bent from a break-in attempt. if so try vaseline inside the sliders. lol

try the switches as my mates gsi was the same it would work when it wanted to the lives were there when you pressed the switch swaped motors still the same tryied two pieces of wire and it worked prefect
