cam carrier gasket?

as title, is there a gasket on the 1300 cam to head?
my 1400 didnt have one :confused:

It is just a smear of really good sealant between the cam carrier & head

Make sure you use decent sealent, as leaking oil between the housing and head is annoying,Lol.

get the proper green stuff from vauxhall never had a prob with it.

Or hermetite Blue. Halfords do it.
