I would love to own one of these, the Ford escort MK2 rs2000

Talking of Novas being thin on the ground, I was browsing on the net and have always thought of acquiring a classic (and yes it’s a) ford. Saw this awesome awesome piece with ridiculous power, maybe in a few year get a 1600 replica or something, with the wide arch body kit, and seeing as there’s such a huge fan base for classic fords, I’m guessing parts will not be a problem either, oh it will of course be a second car to the Nova hahaha.

What are your thought????? enjoy, theres even a you tube video clip of the vehicle in action.

what would i be looking at to make a replica, i've seen this site think its m-99.com and they do a wide arch kit nose 2 front wing 2 rear, for like 500. so if i got hold of a standard 2 doors mk2 that needs body work could be possible at a bargin price i'm talking upto 2k hopefully less? what you recon?:thumb:

If i was you i would spend the money on alloy arches spoiler etc thats the only the way you will add value to the shell.

You will be lucky to get a mk2 on the road for 2k these days never mind a arched rally rep

If you cut corners you will more than likely take value off the shell :(

Start with a rolling shell that needs work and go from there, then you can build it up how you like :thumb:

You can say that again about mint ones making silly money, you'll never see a nova making that much no matter how old and how mint it is.

if you go on youtube, there are some awesome video click of the mk2 doing dounuts power slides etc, being a rear wheel drive its just awesome.theres even one in there with a cbr fireblade (motorbike) engined one doing loops thus do more tricks in them then you can in a nova.

Its probably due to the successfull Rally hertigage is why they are so sort after today.
