fitting a redtop

when i put the f20 in my nova it was really close to the tie bar do i cut the lug off or lower them down a little

yes cut the lug off, the tie bar doesn't move much at that point as it is close to its axis point - so gaining the extra 1/2" makes a lot of difference at the wheels.
