yes this is as i did when fitting win 40's to a nova gsi. best way is to get abolt and screw it in till it goes tight the carefully cut thehead off with out damaging the cylinder head

does it affect normal injection and what are the benifits?

I blanked mine with a peice of alloy plate cut to shape over the port on the outside of the inlet manifold. Was fine.

This is E16SE engines yes?

If your using the standard inlet yeah.
Just put a plate over the Egr valve hole.

I used 5mm Alloy to block mine iirc.

JUST block the valve if your using the standard inlet manifold.

Or leave it. You will gain nothing from removing it.

i think i will ask my head tuners to block the passage and i shall make a plate to cover the valve.
Cheers

If your using the standard inlet theres no need to block the head as the inlet still has a hole for it.
Just blocked the Valve holes.
