File request

I didn't think of asking you guys till I saw Joff thread.

Basic my computer went up the spout so i messed about with it and now the sounds doesn't work. What I need to fix it (i'm told) is two files:

1. swenum.sys
2. swenum.inf

I think these should be on every PC with XP, you just need to run a search, make a copy and send it to me :thumb::D

Copy them off your xp install cd....

I thought of the but there not on there, not as those files anyway. i.e zipped up.

just re-install your sound drivers off your xp disk then

tryed that, didn't work.

Can someone check what drivers their 'play and play software device enumerator' uses.

Control Panel> System> Hardware> Device Manager> System Devices> Find 'play and play software device enumerator' then click the Driver tab and then driver details.

Type or print screen will be fine.
