Hello there

I'm in the process of building up my 1.0 into a 1.6. I was going to run it on Carbs, but MSA road rally regs won't allow it.

So I need to put the injection system on.

Now I have all the parts but am having a few problems.

The engine turns over but there is absolutely no spark

I don't have the water temp and oil pressure sensors connected, but I can't see these causing a problem.

What I could really do with is a wiring colour code diagram.

Any help would be appreciated though!

Cheers
Ron

are you getting petrol? if not maybe the ecu aint wired up right. if you are sounds like coil is gone or maybe just wired wrong?

Have you wired the ecu/coil using the black wire that used to go to the 1L coil?

When it had the 1'6 fitted and still is now and runs this fine.

hi ron
i had a very simulor problem when i changed the girlfriends nova van from desiel to a 1.6 gsi engine. i never got it to start from the ignition. i got round it by adding a push button start to the starter motor which worked every time. hope this can be of some help. martin
