Engine Firing Problem

hey i have a engine problem.

I get into the nova start it up all is fine i drive around maybe a hour, two hours, maybe more then i switch the engine off.

Then i chat to my friends get bk in go to start it up really struggles to starts up then a lot of thottle n it fires up then its ok..

It behaves fine when driving etc just when i "cut n start"

I belive its because i need new sparkplugs am i along the right track or not?

thought i would ask on here before i went and got some new sparkplugs :)

Which engine?
Sounds like a choke sticking on to me(if its a 1300/1400 sr engine)

this is a 1 litre engine :) manual choke

says it all;) most 1l ive had struggle to start it the thrash you have to give them to get anywerelol

needs new points thwn if its a 1.0 , there only ?3 new lol

I get this trouble with my 1400SR and im blaming my Carb :D Only cos everything else is new!

Im thinking along the lines of Fuel evaporation as the engine is hot so would make whatever fuel up there evaporate. And do you try and restart with choke?
