Right, i have a teeny tiny problem with this here engine of mine (E16SE) :tard:

Fuel pump is on & works, and is correct way around.
Fuel pump primes when key it turned.
Fuel pump works when ignition is instigated.

Fuel is flowing, comes fine through the filter, and upto the inlet manifold.
I have around 9 litres of fuel presently in the tank.

Each plug does have a spark, and sparks when ignition is instigated.

The engine still will not turn over and/or run.

Anyone have any ideas? As im all out :wtf:

Wont turn over?

Or does it turn over and not start?

Does it fire? Or just turn over and over.

Do the plugs smell of fuel? Perhaps the injectors aren't firing.

Personally, and after speaking on MSN, i think the injectors/ECU are up poo creek

Sounds like there might be a module (or sensor) gone down.

Does the ECU light go out whilst cranking?

Between us all we should be able to come up with spare ECU's, AFM, etc etc

well, i think its a case of:

cranking engine (until purposly flooded)
checking plugs for fuel
If theres no fuel residue then>

New ECU as the injectors are obviously not firing. I need it fixed TBH as im looking to sell it.

Not sure if this will help but sounds like what happened on my track car but that was on an xe.Lee pointed out it mite be the temp sencer as it will over fuel the engine. Take the plugs out clean up or fit new ones and disconect the temp sencer that will be under the dizzy. It should run but in limp home mode.If so then get hold of a new temp sencer. Hope this helps as sorted mine out.
