How would I be able to get my euro back lights like these ones with the smoked indicator?

Mask off the red areas with masking tape and spray the indicator section with tinting spray from halfords etc

Trip to halfords for some lense tinting spray... you'll probably need to go to a gay Ripspeed store though.

Would normal black spray paint not do it? or would that completly black the light out?

You can use normal spray paint, but have to put it on v. thinly, its much easier use the proper tint spray.
Altho usually the finish looks crap from any tint spray. It only looks decent if the shine of the paint matches the other lense.

It wont look like the picture youve posted, tinting spray is what you need

Heres a set i have that have been spray tinted, the finish is very good tho and matches the top lense shininess,Lol. So they dont look spray tinted. They are standard lights tho, no euro.

you need to be careful because too much and the Bizzies will pull you because the tint can impede the efficiency of the bulbs. last thing you want is some granny rear ending you because she cant see your little candle lights behind an inch of paint!

Tint them but do yourself a favour and fit a 3rd brake light in your spoiler.

LLTN. They look good.

I keep meaning to sort myself out some one off rear clusters.

If you're tinting them, why not just use a set of std lenses? As it kinda defies the point of having a euro cluster

The euro light is for either twin fog or twin reverse I always thought..

I'm only wanting smoked indicators on the euro lights..

When you tinting them... don't go much darker than a few light coats otherwise you won't be able to see your indicators... especially in the sun.

I personally wouldn't go any darker than that.

vaughanmc

Yeah thats about as dark as I would go just with the indicators

Maybe use a set of standard lights, tinting the indicators black, but also red tint the reverse section of the std clusters? Just an idea as you already have the standard lights and will save you forking out for a euro cluster (?20 plus...)

you can use the black tint spray then clear lacquer the whole light so it matches :)
