Had an idea. What about a thread of old PNG stuff scanned in? I know people on here like Fearless and Craig Green have PNN mags that could be scanned in????

Agreed rjm, lots of the younger members are using the old logo on their avatars already!
I have every issue from 10 onwards if needed, plus some spares i picked up at the wicksteed park national day 2002.

I can scan mine at my parents place. No idea how to merge the pages though.
Wickstead nationals 2002 was a fantastic weekend. I remember being very hungover on the Sunday morning....
might be easier to scan them and then put the induhvisual pages into a PDF per issue and then sling the pdf's into an archive section of the forum or something to relive some lost yooooof.

I was going to suggest we opened an archive for all the old stuff.

Was Wickstead 2002 the year that it rained like crazy on the sunday? I helped Karl rowntree clean his car on the show and shine then the heavens opened. i also remember being there in my M3 and leaving the field was hilariously sideways lol

No rain in 2002 Oli. It was funkin hot there. 2003 was the indoor show at leamington Spa IIRC.
I think it mustve been 01 perhaps as that was wet from memeory though I wasnt there.
Karls Nova didnt get to Wickstead in 2002 as he left in it but the head went porous on the way to the show, its first journey since the rebuild IIRC.
Slightly off topic does anyone have any png news pre 1999 they want to sell on?

Must've been 2004 that I'm thinking of. cos 2003 at the warwickshire exhibition centre (2 miles from my house :D ) was the first one I took my current blue nova to and it was minty fresh and bog standard and I remember everyone asking what my plans were lol think I pissed off a few Nova purists that day :thumb:
Then 2004 I set off for Wickstead with Novaneil and Scott Parker and ten miles down the road my Nova broke down (leaky valve stem oil seals fouled the plugs up). I remember Scott asking if I needed a lift, I said nah its all right i'll get my M3, his face was priceless. Not so bloody flash now with my Astra TDS :cry:

My PNG stuff goes back to 1995 - I think I have issue 4 of PNG news floating around somewhere which is the earliest one I have.
