2) welder
3) fibre glass
4) body filler

still havent got the astra tail gate.

so ive started to flush whats left of my tailgate. i cut a pice out of my roof about 2ft by 26in or so. and it fits in well, that metal bonder sounds good right about now!!

Its called liquid metal - get it from most autofactors - made by loctite.

It seems to do the trick although I wouldnt use it for any structural parts that have any kind of consistent tension going through them - although the manufactrurers claim it has the same tensile strength as a weld. I further reinforced the bits I used it on with rivets.
