want to make a set of bonnet lifters, ive got the struts from 2 old bootlids and have the little ball joints aswel, will these fit onto my bonnet? anyone ever done this? is it easy?

yep i used metro boot lifters on the bonnet of my old B reg SR back in 1999.

ok thanks, didnt know if they would be too strong because boots are heavier than bonnets!

They will just extend until there fully extended...

i have bonnet lifters on mine, they are handy but im not sure they do much for bonnet alignment

As Above They Will Push The Back Of The Bonnet Up Thus Being Out Of Line!!
