rain gutters & gull wing

can you just cut off the rain gutters off?
does anyone know where you can buy a gull wing conversion kit?

The gutters hide the weld seam that keeps the roof on to the side of the car. If you cut these off I presume you'll have to ensure that you reweld the seams or at least find some way of sealing the join. otherwise water will pour into your car when it rains (I guess)

Gettin rid of the rain gutters is fairly expensive. As the others have said if u cut them off u will have to weld the roof back on. Then smoothin it in so that u cant see it. I was quoted by one garage about 500 quid, which I thought was over the top. Im still debating it though.

For the amount of wrk and money, is it worth doing for something that will not stand out. (I reckon it is)

Have a word with SID, or look on his webiste www.xstyle.co.uk for pictures of his car, he has suicide doors and no gutters on his roof. he'll tell you how it can be done.
