:confused:I HAVE A C20XE CORSA AND CANT GET IT TO RUN RIGHT IT REVS UP FINE ON THE SPOT BUT WHEN UNDER LOAD STRUGGLES TO REV OVER 4000 RPM :confused: AND WHEN IT DOES GO OVER IT GOES NO WERE HEAD GASKET IS FINE HAS A GOOD SPARK AND COMPRESSION CAN ANY ONE POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION PS JUST PUT NEW LAMBER SENSOR ON , MASS AIR FLOW METER, PLUGS LEADS CAP ROTORERY ARM AND I AM GOING TO TRY A CRANK POSTION SENSOR TONIGHT PLEASE HELP ME CHEERS ED

1.6 gsi just noticed timing out one tooth on bottem pully could be problem ?

plugged computer in had 3 fault codes cleared them and they have not come up again and it is still massivley over fueling black smoke out exharst as well help ?

Right i had this problem about 2 days ago an it seriously pissed me off. Basically it would run fine on the autochoke (about 12.5 afr) but instead of leaning out to 14.7 on tick over it went down, off the scale on my wideband which is below 10 afr and was kicking out black smoke an would not even run. I changed everything an was about to smash it up, but for some reason i decided to change the lamda sensor again as i fitted a crap universal one ( only one they had at the time ) and fitted a manky second hand one. Then the car ran fine.

I ran mine with that problem on the computer an you could see that the injector pulse went through the roof when it got upto temperature.

yes it was seriously under powered an woudlnt even drive hardly
