right well a mate of mine had a 38 carb on his gsi..

he has told me i can have it cheap.
how easy will it be to fit to a sr head?
will i have the same gains from this as a 32/34?

thanks lee

You'll need a sutable inlet too and you may struggle for bonnet height once a filter is on. I'd see what it looks like on your mates first. Not sure about power gains though.

suitable inlet?

thing is it is out of the car because he has xe'd that car now.

what inlet would i need to get it to fit?

Some kind of inlet adaptor, as its not meant to fit a nova originally.

If you have time call and see phil turner,he's got a garage on the henfaes lane industrial estate in welshpool,i'll get you his number.
He does rally car preparation and runs a 1.6 Nova with 38dgas on it,think he made the manifold so he'd probably be your best bet:thumb:
