More Digi-Dash problems

I have a K reg 93 Nova GSI and I haven't bought the digital sender yet because I've noticed that there are already wires coming from the gearbox/speedo cable which I assume are going to the engine management, can you branch of one of these to send a signal to the digi-dash? could anyone help me asap before I spend a shed load of cash on the digital sender.

yes u will need a new sender! ur old sender (if u wired it up) will display HALF of ur actual speed. i.e. ur doing 60mph dash will show only 30mph. check it out at http://www.vaux.co.uk
