well the plan was to build up my old maroon nova, but whilst being stored in a private carpark (at a freinds) it got stolen :mad: (didnt even have a steering wheel on it) so i bought this family wagon;

astra ls estate irmscher edt. everything on it is from the factory(exept the ghey V6 badge thats coming off asap) only a 1.4 but thats ideal at the mo (affordable insurance)

and sold my SR last night to a lad off here, will get another nova but not for a while (got a load of parts incl. XE)

yea the guy i bought it off has a LC.

funnily enuogh ive never been into astra estates either, but this caught my eye as its preety unique, has eps, leccy windows ect. and its gonna withstand a lot more in a crash than a nova(wouldnt trust the little un in a nova). plus the boot space gives me room to get a midi moto in there

get some gsi bumpers on there, bigger smart rims to fill the arches and drop it a 40mm or so, maybe an irmscher twin square type exhaust

Gettin it all welded up and back to bare metal next week. . .ill get a project progess thingy up and running!

my mate said he saw you at MNR he was in the silver corsa c (it was his old nova)

plans for my estate are 17's either wolfrace asia tek yakusa's or bk 299's in black, then drop it a further 40mm (already dropped 40 from irmscher) then a subtle backbox,badgeless and v-less grill and that'll be it for a bit

different - nice astra there. some bigger rims would be nice but tbh not vital.

maybe a V6 engine to match the badge though lol

was also thinking irmscher softstars in 16" would keep it along the lines of the factory irmscher guise

plus really needs clear repeaters, orange ones look like eggs lol
