and would these stop an xe nova

Tarox 235mm disks, comes with everything needed including hoses , 6 pot calipers . designed to fit under 13 inch wheels. (max dia about 280mm)

Yes they will fit. Minis have a PCD of 4x101 so only 1mm in it

As for the breaks, they sound ok but they are small so would probably be ok for road use but not track use.

Are you talking about the new KAD 6-pot setup for the mini by chance..
Something like 600quid for the calipers...

put it thisway, the vx/elise has 288mm discs and has mere AP 2pots up front and it stops fine... heat issues are fixed with suitable pad choice.
