Do you want to know the cheapest way to go faster? :confused:

well look further down -->

Massive hill and an equally massive tail wind lol. Otherwise kams and a remap

yeah a chip and cams if you just get cams you wont make the most of them as with a chip i would get a decent exhaust aswell

Cheapest mod you can do is strip it out completely. Its totally free, and makes a hell of a difference.

Dont discount some cheap DCOE's if they turn up. Bear in mind theyll need a setup, but some come up cheap.

Cams and a remap will always help yes. it all depends on your budget.

Injectors are so not needed whilst you have the Motronic ECU & SFi box.

Courtenay Grp-N chip is the best mod by a long way. Is everything else sweet? ie exhaust etc before you wish for more horses?

I bet the handling could do with more tweeks..

^ this guy has a point. You can have all the power you like... but without a good setup (In terms of Suspension, brakes) it's pointless.

"Better" injectors are pointless on a standard ecu.
As is a chip tbh.

?400 is a great price for a set of 45's and the ignition setup, considering a "chip" might cost you ?300.

Agreed, a chip on an almost standard NA angine is uber expensive in regards to what you get in return, plus i dont believe theyre really needed until youve modded the engine so much it needs some help.

The carbs will give you so much more bang for the buck imo

Standard is 2".
So anything above standard power id go for 2 1/4"

lose some weight is the cheapest, but imo cams an chip are going to get you naff all. Chips on N/As are a waste of money. For the price of them you could have a nitorus kit and double your power.
