powered by the Phaeton's 6.0-litre W12. It's twin-turbocharged,641bhp and 553lb ft of torque, rear wheel drive,mid engined, 3.7sec dash to 62mph and a top speed of 184mph.
very fecking nice i think:thumb:
and the best bit, theyve acyually made it rather than just drawn it. this thing is 100% real working concept
pffft - photoshop
Good to see proper mad concepts coming back tho. When are vauxhall going to pull there finger out?
Looks like something out of NFS lol

that pic may be a photoshop but the car is actually real. was reading about it in wh smiths, was in max power this month. (i dont actually buy max p by the way!just have a browse in smiths while the gf is fannying about)
the engine is were the rear seats would normally be. and the whole rear is one piece of bodywork. theres no way you can actually get at the engine without taking half the car apart!theres no boot or anything for access. (10 out of 10 for whoever thought of that!)
would be nice to see vauxhall with some crazy ideas

sAW THE CAR AT mILTON kEYNES (VW HEAD OFFICE) 2 WEEKS AGO, IT WAS ALSO AT gti INTERNATIONAL
looks cool..
i heard/read vaux is goign Green and mainly making Diesels and 1.4/1.6 engiens that are better for the evironment.. Read it in a car mag while at the docs y'day
^ more than likely, as "green" (I use the term lightly) cars sell. No doubt GM will try to regain #1 from Mr T by cutting into their market.
As cool as that Golf is, I can't really see it making any money for VW - yes we all love it, but how many of us would be able to go out and buy one?

It worked for Renault as the sold them at a reasonable price but then they are a cheap car to start with and they just raided the parts bin for bits.
This is more of a one off so the cost will most probably kill it off and they wont be able to build in sufficient numbers to get the cost down.
Suppose it will also come down to demand, there are some die hard VW fans out there!
It was like the Opel Astra DTM concept, that was going to be like 200,000 Euros or something, whos going to pay that for an Astra

Renault actually lost money on the Clio.
