has any1 got pics of a nova with a corsa dash fitted?is this a diffcult conversion i have a mark 2 1.2 nova but im scrapping a m reg corsa was thinkin about puting the corsa dash in if it isnt to difficult????cheers for any info?

A lad on here called joff-turbo-nova is in the process of fitting one (probably completed it by now actually)

and yes, joff has put a corsa dash in his but has modified it sooo much, hes completely re-wired it, if you were planning a straight swap there are heater pipes and switches to relocate!

Theres a white track prepped Nova (dan16v? maybe) Nova on here & MIG with one in too.

where do i get hold of pics then?just want a general idea on how it will work if it dosnt like rite in a nova ill leave it,what do you all think about doing this conversion?

stick with your dash, no need to swap really, focus on stuff that will make the car perform better!

to be honest mate im performing is the last thing on my mind!! i just wana keep another nova on the road with a mint glacierwhite paint job on!! its just a 1.2 but not to bothered to be honest,id rather appreciate my work for building it mint than be tar'd with the same old boyracer crap brush!

Fitting the corsa dash is a real pain ... but give it a go if you want!!

Tips from personal experience :-

1. Start triming the dash to make it fit a little at a time, then keep offering it up to see where it fits / doesn't fit

2. Get the steering column in the right place - this will need the brackets drilling out and moving and rewelding so the column comes out of the dash in the right place.

3. Make some brackets at each end of the dash so its held secure.

4. Take your time and don't rush !
