TD Turbo on a gte???????

toying with sum silly ideas, but would a td turbo fit onto a gte? if so will the mod b difficult or would changing the engine to a 2.0 16v be betta?

I personally wouldnt ever bother going to a 2 litre in a Nova.. Id put in a 1.6 16v Corsa engine on throttle bodies (or twin 40s - cheaper) and with a few mods its possible to get much better power than a std 2 litre.. Also doesnt spoil the car as much in my opinion - stays better balanced etc..

Turbo on Nova has been done before .. was covered in CCC (proper car mag) a couple of years ago on a 1 litre nova.. (think it was 1 litre anyway) for competition use.
