Not EVERY pub/club will enforce the smoking ban, there's a special licence for those that don't want to, but it costs alot of money so i'm told!

Novadex

im sure thats not right??? Every public area has to enforce it.

this thing i dont get..

it say's you cant smoke in place's of work etc, like work van's an so on...

but say you have a work van, that is basically your personal transport too, you pay tax for it,

can you still smoke in it then?

you can only smoke in company vehicles IF the vehicle is assigned to you on a permanent basis. AND you may not smoke in said vehicle if you carry someone else (even if they smoke too)

?50 fine (or ?30 if paid in 14 days)... unless you goto court then its ?500 or something.

and the establishment gets a ?2K fine or something like that.

draper

quite simply really.... the premisis that smoking occurs gets a huge ass fine if anyone is caught there smoking... so the staff will be keen to put a stop to any of it. and also the properly upthemselves non smoking brigade will shop anyone smoking etc.

It will be a self policing law like it is in scotland (and i belive its rougher up there than it is in engerland lol)

I personally think it's a good idea. Without meaning to sound too girly it will be nice to come back without your hair stinking and still being able to smell the perfume/deodrant you put on earlier lol
Also will stop fag burns when in close proximity of smokers in clubs. Ouch :(
