Got another Nova today.

As above we went and saved this little gem (bar some ****s lobbing a brick through the front and rear window)
Its got a few probs with air con at the mo but an ideal base model for the miss's to lern in and i could'nt go without a road going nova for to long.
It has a hole 52k on the clock of 1ltr power and a few neet features like a plant instal in the engine bay and a few spider webbs inside.
Ive got a full gsi window set so sorting that asap so i can get the omega back in it's garage.
Hav'nt had much chance to look round dew to the weather but failed its mot on the head light angle.
It's been sat since jan this year when the mot ran out but started on the key with no jump leads.
It has a few probs at the mo running on 3 at the mo and hand brake dragging on a bit but the main prob was it did'nt have anough grunt on 3 to pull it self onto my trailer so needed a hand from the winch.
I will get some better pics once sorted but here is how we found her looking a bit sorry but will be sorted soon.
The best part was got it for ?60 with a full service history lots of recipts and the original hand book happy days.

lol As said before at the mo the miss's is going to be learning to drive in it so running on 3 it will be fine...
As for an upgrade BT has already offered me a nice low mileage 1.2 spi which would be fine for her until she gets better at driving.
Im going to fit a set of 14's and the astra breaks i have at home so it stops a bit better.

I got the Nova out and took a few pics before and after i cleaned it a bit.First of had to fit the back window and take the bung out the bottom of the boot to let the flood out.

I was going to give it a bit of a pollish but it started to rain.

As said before just a few little things like lower it a little bit fit a grey gsi front bumper (once she has been driving for a wile) a set of vauxhall alloys and maybe a little back box.Nothing to mager as nobody will try to nick it then.

I know there in silk violet when the car is white but growing on me if they dont there going satin black.
Just waiting on the side skirts now and a set of wheels (once got some) and a 40 mm drop shoud sort it for know.
I fitted a new window as well but at the last bit of window rubber to go in the screen broke. Not happy now as need another green tint windscreen.

good lad. I managed to get 2 rear windows out and back in with no drama so well chuffed after the front window prob i had.

Back of the yard today to paint up the rear beam and do some other bits of cleaning.I forgot to mention that my mate added 400bhp to it by painting the rear drums.but think im going to paint them back to black as cant let her loose with that sort of power lol.
