i was fixing the lock on my dads transit and have locked the keys in the back of the van and have no spar keys what should i do befor he finds out lol

how can i get in to it ???

most pikeys on street corners have a universal key for any car/van. just ask if you can borrow it.

its the shape of a large screwdriver

i might have to pry the lock off and pull thye conecting rods with some plyers up but cant really just do that whit out my old mans permission

some trani locks can be open with a thin screwdriver used as the key can remember if its pozi or flat ya need depends on which shape it is if not try removeing the rubber around the window and geting a rod with a bent end on it then try pushing/pulling the linkages and such thats inside the door

i gave my fraviot uncle a ring and he came over with a box of ford transit keys and after about 75 keys i found one that worked on my dads van

depending what shape transit whack a screwdriver into the lock and turn it but you will have to go to scrappy to get a new one

nearly all ford keys will lock all fords (with that ghey shape key they have), and you'll be uber lucky to find one that will unlock though.

We lock keys in the vans all the time here... Just call ford and ask for the key number, easy.

my uncle has loads of ford keys due to the fact he works for the council fixing all there vans and trucks

and no he did not have 75 keys he had about 500 odd keys on him and more back at the yard he works at lol


cant believe it worked but ford transits are not the most secure vehicles in the world even more so with the newist ones you can run a knife up one side of the door on the newer models and it opens all the central locking :eek:
