Lights problem

Noticed my right headlight was pointing too high so i tried adjusting using the turny thing near the lights under the bonnet, but nothing happened. They were working in Jan when i used them to adjust them for my MOT. Also the adjuster from the dash only works on the left hand light now.

Any ideas?

The black moulded plastic adjuster may have broken, in which case you are just twiddling away without changing the direction of the lights.

However, this may not be the case - you say you have an electric vertical adjuster on the lights. The turny thing on the motor side of the light will only set where the motor will then move the light up and down from. If the motor is fried - this will not be much use; goto scrappy and get a new headlamp.

The other knob on the headlight is used for horizontal adjustment.
