bought the nova around 5 months ago looking a bit sorry for its self , i have been using this car as my everyday car and its a dream :D , just a bit of an on goin project really , trying new ideas etc......

heres a pik of when i got the car...

the car had been crashed into a punto when the weather was bad , i paid 700 quid for it as it stud and stripped it all down the day i bought it

after i had bought a new headlight and indicator , new wing and bonnet i also repair'd the bumper (it was in 4 bits hahaha) , it all went for painting

once the car was all painted and polished up it looked like this

just recently i have decided to change a few things , tell me what ya rekon..............

i have added astra mk2 gte mirrors
painted the wheels metalic black
gone with the red strips on the bumper instead of the chrome
painted the calipers and drums
added (then removed) a 'V' grill
changed the old dirty clear clusters for nice shiny new one
brand new healights and indicators

hey - its a little suprise this one - got through the trouble of resprays and everything.. looks damn straight and clean.

The red striping just gives the car a bit more identity.. but seein as it still looks nothin like a GSi or that it was one, im bit unsure to whether i prefer it or not...
Maybe best with no stripes at all??

Looks clean mate -- I like the red stripes in the bumper, looks that bit genuine with it :)

i tried it without the stripe and it didn't look that good , just looked plain and boring , the stripes deffinatly set i of

does look good. alot better than i first thought when i saw the first picture.

its not too over the top either its pretty standard with a few little changes

definaty happy with the new bumper (cheers again martin) its just the way i wanted my nova to look now

a sad day 2day :(:(

woke up the other day to find that my nova had being broken into and destroyed :( managed to get it goin and get too work but obviously was gutted , parked it up for the night and woke up the next day too fine it had been broke into a second time :(:(

started taking it apart 2day as i have decdided to break it , and use some of the bits to put on my 'runnerbout' corsa sport

any interest it parts let me know , piks are on this thread

will deffo be making another one , opefully identical to the one i have ;) ;)

Gutting! Way too many posts like this recently for my liking... How was it destroyed beyond repair?

door was bent right the way back , ant all the dash wiring was destroyed as they tried to rip the alarm out , stole hazard light switch (expected) alarm was also imobaliser so it keot cutting out as the alarm didnt no wot to do lol
, pulled all the vents out the dash , because of thw wiring been ripped next t nothing works (e.g lights wont work properly , wipers , boot release, etc) aswell as cd player etc beong stolen , just a general list of problems that have built on top ov the excisting problems , still have the car (wots left haha) goin t try and stor it sumwer if i can anf start fresh and make it my own
