Hi All.
Not a good month really - firstly i find out FTP access to nova-land.com has been stopped, so i need to find a new ISP to host my site, cant update it copy it post to it or anything (OFFERS!? :D), and now secondly my car is up the creek.
This problem is VERY intermittent.
basically, turn the key and nothing happens, the centre heater console switch (mk2) dims, but no starter.
went back in morning to try again and collect car - no probs.
again can start, call RAC man, tapped solenoid with a look a like toffee hammer and said it was a sticky solenoid, so got a new starter at a cost of ?45 (included discount as next door neighbour worx for carspares)
all replaced, and now the same thing.
RAC man says possibly sold a dodgy starter. no help at all really.
Any ideas guys? and gals!
