got me some gsi seats, and the subframes look WAY different to wat ive already got in the car :S

Do you have the poverty spec seats which feel like they are on curved runners (even though they are not) and are held in place by 2 u shaped clamps (with 2 bolts per one) at the front of the seat? If so, don't worry GSi seats go on without a fuss, you'll only use two bolts per seat to hold them in place though.

its an sri, but they do seem to curvem and ther are on sum runners tht feel plastic duno if tht helps

I removed the ones on the left and fitted the GSI ones on the right. They do fit. Lift the catch so that the seat tilts forward, and slide the seat all the way back on its subframe. Hook the rear of the subframe under the rails on the chassis, pull it forward until the bar at the front of the subframe sits in the groove on the chassis and bolt it down.
