Matrix. If its leaking in the cabin its not going to be a loose jubilee clip but the matrix itself.

New ones are available at the excellent price of about ?28 from

Vauxhall will relieve you of approx ?200 for one!

This is the matrix ...

Have to remove centre console, under dash shelves (maybe), think theres about 8 or so bolts holding the cover onto the bottom of the matrix, once removed you'll see the heater matrix (as in pic) you'll have to remove the 2 water pipes that join to it in the engine bay, then theres a couple of bolts securing the matrix to its holder / mount, then just a case of pulling it out.
Oh yeah ... be best to drain the cooling system first !! lol

With a new matrix you should have properly toasty heaters for the winter too.

If you cant see the sense in that..........

Yes you can just join the 2 pipes together in the engine bay, your squeeking heaters is the motor which is a seperate part to the matrix.

fook sake those buy parts buy people are numpties, my matrix has just arrived and it looks to be a cav or omega item when i purchased the correct nova one and even stated the whole cars details when ordering.

just wondering how far the pipes are appart on other peoples novas because mine are 110mm centre to centre, and the one thy sent me is like 56mm?
