GSi on Carbs

Hi,
My mate is putting a Gsi engine in his sr and running it off a single 40 or 45 webber twin choke carb I think. Question, is what will this go like? What carbs would you need to use to get the 100bhp as standard with injection?

its far easier to run off the injection, use less fuel, beter performance etc. more reliable

Like the man said get you ECU too to and injection but if pure bhp and speed is what you want then a pair of twin 40's are the order of the day!
