heat it up and hold the air gun flat out or if you have one use a puller

Unbolt it.

What are you struggling with? Put the car in 1st gear to stop it turning.....

Put it in gear & possibly get someone to put a foot on the brake.

btw I would recommend you use an allen key attachment in a ratchet socket rather than an allen key when doing the water pump. Less likely to slip.

Lol.
Anti-clockwise.

If its really stuck, jam a breaker bar against the floor, then turn the engine over on the starter motor, for a split second, that should be enough loosen it.

OR put the car in gear as said, turn the bolt until the "slack" in the transmission etc is taken up, then undo it.

Anticlockwise to remove a bolt. Clockwise to tighten. Have you tried using WD40/penetrating fluid?

Have you got a breaker bar?

Its easiest with a 3ft breaker bay pointing up through the top of the engine bay, then PUSHING it towards the firewall/bulkhead.

What are you trying to undo it with?

Im not suprised you cant undo it if your trying with a 6" 3/8" drive wrench or something,Lol.
