I have recently bought a nova from a mate, and it looks like the shocks (AVO) are not connected to the springs, which makes a bumpy ride.

Can I get just springs that will fit onto the AVO shocks and lower it 60mm ??

I think I may have sorted it. I called AVO, and they "advised" me to get some new springs, that will fit the AVO shocks !!

But then they would say that, seeing as I would probably end up buying from them !!

ive got AVO's on me sri, sounds as if the springs were cut, if u ask me. any springs should fit it, dont go to avo for them, they will rob u silly.

how that which are not connected how is the car not on the floor dragging then?
If there lose when you jack it up not a good thing!
try just some nice G-max -60mm(formly Jamex)
Should see you right
Oh and check your bushes/track-rod ends,lower ball joints and streering rack!
replace topmounts too as to minimize the hard bangs!(which come with big drops!)
If your loaded get the AVO 2 1/4" coil overs but at ?500-700 they aint cheep!
