Hi, just fitted a weber 32/34 to my 1300 sr, now the car wont idle, instead the revs just drop off and stall? Does the accelerator cable need setting up properly to stop this?
Also its flat spotting in all gears. Any ideas?
Finally i had to drill my old k&n panel filter to fit, will this be alright or is there a different one i need (clearence is super tight too)?
cheers for any help!

oh and its off a 1300 nova so should be jetted correctly etc.

the idle control valve is on injection systems on a carb it is the idle jet that gets the fuel in by a vacuum when the butterfly plate in the carb is nearly closed

im pretty sure anyway lol :p

Turn the idle up, its just a throttle stop screw.

idle control valve is on the left hand side of the carb when your looking towards the car, has a sort of spring wrapped around the threads.
Near enough to the accelerator cable.
Hope it helps
