1.3 8v engine low miles

the engine originally came from a 1987 vauxhall belmont and when i took it out of the car it had only done 43000 miles it was in my nova for a year and i was at uni for most of that so it has only done a maximum of 50000miles in total, the engine has the standard pierburg 2e3 carb and is fitted with a kent ast1 cam and alloy vernier and also has a 4 branch manifold, the gearbox is from my car which is the box that comes with the 1.2spi am i right in thinking this is an f10? it definately has wide ratios though and is 5 speed. Reason for removal is i am fitting a larger engine. It has been looked after with regular oil changes and plugs etc. also has had a recent cambelt change. if you want photos pm me or ring me on 07706858840 anytime this week, located near hull and will need to be picked up although may deliver for fuel cost if nearby
would be a good base for modification due to low mileage

i've got the original exhaust manifold aswell yeah also original cam and a new exhaust manifold gasket to go with it, the four branch is on the engine at the moment, whereabouts in wiltshire are you? then i can give you a rough guess on delivery, cheers, provisionally sold providing distance isn't too far

just been on google maps and found out that it would be a 500 mile round trip for me to deliver the engine so i don't think i would be willing to drive it to you, however i may be able to get it put on a pallet and sent to you via parcelforce or whatever? should be around ?60-70? let me know if you are interested

Yeh i will definatly consider it, as long as all the parts are there for it to run anyway. Would a twin carb manifold from a 1.3sr fit it?

yes it runs i've only just took it out the car on saturday, the engine is the same as the one in a 1.3 sr so yes it will, let me know what you decide delivery wise, many thanks
