Late XE (dispak) will have an inlet air temp sensor in the inlet trunking too, so theres another sensor + 1 or 2 of the other sensors are 3 pin instead of 2 pin on the earlier loom.

Does the GTE loom have lambda? The late one will definately but only later GTE's had this.

the gte loom is different to the cavs / calibra regardless of dizzy / dis pack style engine.

However it doesnt mean it wont fit a another xe with the correct ecu

hello mate dont try putting a earlier loom on a later engine,it just won`t work, pre 92`use the coil for the spark where as the later has a crank sensor to mentain the spark,if you got the later calibra engine approx l-reg onwards,it`s probably dis ignition,so you`ll need a later loom..lots of ways to do it ,but chose the right way, bodging can cause fires...lol..
