few electrical questions!!

my new engine is in now and running! ive not touched any other wiring besides the engine but now when i turn my headlights on, my windscreen wipers come on and no headlights,, just sidelights,, also nothing will work with headlights on like horn and winscreen washers but do when i turn them off!! any thoughts?? must be a bad earth somewere but ive not touched any of teh wiring for these things!

Check the inner wing earths.
Theres a wire that runs from the coil/headlamp loom that bolts to the wing.

on my old fuel tank there was a double plug that went into the fuel sender, on my new one theres a single pin plug? which wire do i conect up, need help asap as im goin away in it this afternoon n wnt a fuel gauge for the motoway!

Hmmm, i thought all senders were 2pin, as thats how they work, varying resistance.
Just plug it on and see if the gauge works lol

theres one little round pin sticking out the sender unit!

Do you have a blue/black wire? if so connect that.
