When i start my car first thing in the morning or if i leave it for a few hours then start the car, i have to keep the revs high for about 15 seconds then its ok, also within that 15 seconds if i floor it then there is a delay... then it picks up.
can anyone solve this please as it is starting to get on my god damn nerves x-(

Carbs / injection ??
Summut to do with the choke? Give the carb a clean out anyway. Wouldn't advise reving it, just help it idle at around 1K with the throttle (at least you'll give the engine a longer life that way! :)

I had a similar problem a while ago (especially when cold) and it got to the point where the engine would die when I slowed down - hellish going into a roundabout!
If it stutters like you are driving with the handbrake on then jumps forward its the carb. Clean it ir relace it (I had to replace mine)
