I have a Nova 1.4Sri

I have been offered a 6000 mile reconditioned Astra 1.8Sri 8v engine complete with everything (ecu, loom, gearbox, driveshafts, manifold) for ?50 (theirs nothing wrong with it, it was a conversion that isnt going to happen now).

So assuming I have all the tools necessary to do the job is their anything else I need to stick it in my car and How much will it cost (exlcuding labour) to get it in the car (cost of any bits that need modifiing).

If its gonna turn out cheap i might do it if not im not going to bother.

Thanks

i belive the sri wiring loom is a git, and its eaier to replace it with a late nova sr loom before you start. you will need an exhaust downpipe making to fit your existing system!
