doing new head gasket tomorra anything i shud be aware of before i do it

things i have got

New - Head Gasket
New - Cam belt
New - Oil Filter
New - Bolts
New - GTX magna stuff oil

o and alovely haynes manuel lol and a mechanic friedn lol


anything i should know before i do this

Get a water pump as well, best to change it whilst everything is off, plus sometimes the new tension in a cambelt can cause them to leak.

make sure the block and the head is clean first. use about p240 sand paper to clean it. and blow it out to make sure shes clean

What engine is it?

Make sure you get the right length cambelt and change the tensioner if it has one.

its all bin done bout 4,ooomiles ago headgasket,plugs,leads,timing belt,clutch water pump,vavle stem seals,cam seal,exhaust n manifold gasket so in my eys ya wasting ya time
