nova sri fuel prob

can any 1 help me, ive a nova sri (1 of the last with the corsa 8v engine)i changed the fuel pipes but it wont start. i need to know does the fuel pipe from the pump go on to the pressure regulator or onto the fuel rail. and should fuel come out of the regulator when u crank the engine. thanks for ur help in advance.

there should be pressure in the fuel rail practically all the time, there should be a small valve with a cap over it on the fuel rail, try taking the cap off and pressing the needle, fuel should come out. this will tell you if the system is presurised.

tried that sribwoy,no luck.should there be fuel commin out the bottom of the regulator when u take it off the rail and crank the engine. on mine theres none comes out.

swop the lines over, sounds like you have them the wrong way around m8!!!

the feed from pump shud go directly to the rail, and the return comes out of the regulator!!
