u got the adapter plate?

if so u should have got a tisted bit of metal which bolts on the back end of the adapter plate - ur throttle cable sits on this.

yes rich its a great help cheers for that question. On yours it seems you have a bung on the rear of the carb and the vacuum pipe of the dizzy on the front one is this right as mine is the other way round if so does it make a difference, as when i pull the bung of the front of mine it sucks in air big time but the rear one when tried makes no difference to the idle on the engine???also my linkage is still running off the otherside of the carb it passes the front of the carb. But the plate was on the manifold i got the carb off but hey it works and i can now see why you lot put these carbs on your motors well chuffed :D :D

If your linkage is on the other side, then the carb is probably just on the other way round...maybe?

I'm not sure how it should be set up to be honest....I just copied the way it was on the SR I got it off and assumed that it was right......it always seamed to be and yes...they are mint aren't they :)
