View Full Version : how much is my nova worth

The nova that i currently own is 18 yrs old with 32000miles on the clock (have papers to back this) never been welded in its life nor any signs of rust i bought i as a 1.2 merit but have tastfully modified it i am thinking of selling it but am not sure how much it would be worth. I have changed the engine to a 1.4sr block with a 1.6 astra sx head bigger ports same peirburg carb and highlift cam. 2l16v brakes on the front gte front, rear bumpers and grill and calibra 15in alloys the car is in white. I am wondering how much people think it is worth.... cheers colin

judging from some of the stupid prices ive been seeing lately i reckon you could mug someone for a grand if its as clean as you say

Probably more than that too.

Personally, I'd only pay around ?400 max for it as I only see it as a 18 year old 1.2. BUT, as dave said, there's been a few low mileage vgc cars that have sold well over a grand, mostly small engine ones too.

max i would go to is ?600, at the end of the day it would only be a shell for a conversion to me

theres also been a few 'heap of crap'...... 'but its a nova with a respray' that have gone for over a grand aswell.


personally, i wouldnt pay over a grand for any nova that didnt have either ....
