real quick digi dash q!

puttin in my dash today in my sri, my car has a plug on it already for the ecu i think, will i splice the wire and send it to the ecu and the dash or do i only send it to the dash an never mind the ecu? cheers guys

You mean the wire from the transducer?

It goes to the sri ecu yeah, its a blue/red.

il cut the three wires going into my sri transducer, put in the digi tranducer join up the live and earth, then make two wires out of the speedo oneoff the digi transducer? one to ecu one to dash?

Aye mate, that'll work.
Your X16 ecu will need a signal from it too.

Also, dont make my mistake off cutting the earths off the old 8v engine, then realising why the transducer had no earth lol

the x16xe is on hold at the moment as the big ends are gone in it:( still ok though as i got the engine piss cheap! going to rebuild it first! thanks for all the help bud! have your wiring diagram memorised at the stagelol

one more thing, if i connect the wire off my oil level sensor on my sri engine how will i get the oil pressure working on the digidash?

You run that to the digidash?
The ecu doesn't use the oil pressure wires, there on the car loom.

i no but my sri clocks dont have oil pressure, they have the oil level, what im wondering is if i connect my oil level light wire to the oil pressure on the dash will it work?

Nope, it'll read full.
You have to fit a 2pin oil sender.
