tickets arrived this morning for the f1 at silverstone.. :D
got the full 3day weekend pass :thumbs:

id rather watch it on telly rather than standing in one place as 15 cars shoot past at 200mph, wait two minutes then they do it again

ste, i'll do one better then dave.

i'll put the tv in the front window of my house, then put surround sound speakers in my car. you sit in the drivers seat and you can pretend your there. i'll even delivery drinks as if your in a drive through.

bargin for ?100 i think.

I want to the F1 tyre test on Wendesday, awesome sound - my ears were ringing afterwards. Never used to like F1 as it's not 'real' cars, more upside-down planes with wheels, but now i love it. There's so much you don't hear though the tv.

How anyone can say its the same watching it on telly is the same as being there is truely mental!!

Youve not lived till youve heard a 750 bhp V8 at 19000 RPM go past at 200 odd mph lol

In fact, last time I was at Silverstone was for the old school 'proper' BTCC cars (before they went gay). The V6 mondeos sound like nothing on this planet, and I used to watch it on telly all the time.

And I strongly recommend a trip to the pod when the top fuellers are running. A lot of you saw the jet car at PV, but the top fuellers are louder and faster. They proper make your ribs bash together lol
