Adobe Premier Pro for M$ / Final Cut for the Touchy feely platform.

Don't think anyone has thought of it for Linux, I may be wrong though.

No, wan*y Apple are too homo to licence it to anyone. I can't even run m4a through Cubase.

You'll need a record what you hear program that effectily remaps the soundcard to a virtual device, and then records it

gay gay gay. I know of software that can do it on a PC... might have to fire up a skany old laptop and do the deed that way.
Mind you i-tunes will convert to secure AAC... wonder if it can be converted from that

ADOBE Audition for music.

depends what sort of music your trying to make...
If you want something like a multi track recording program with MIDI an stuff then you need cubase. If you want a synth sorta thing then you want rebirth of fruity loops..

I could sort you out with a few bits and bobs if you let me know what you want. You could be looking at pricy software otherwise...

aye it's very expensive stuff if you don't know where to get it from ;) ...

I use ADOBE Audition & ADOBE Premier Pro at college all the time and i find them good enough.
