changing a c20xe to a c20let

hey i'm wondering if there is anyone that knows exactly what i would need to turbo my xe block i'm just unsure about the pistons are they the same or will i have to fit turbo ones cheers

Pistons are different.
Cams are different.
Obviously exhaust manifold and turbo, oil supply lines etc.

thanks so all i would relly need is to pick up a set of turbo pistons i know how to do the oil lines etc and the turbo n that is easilly picked up. i take it the valve seats are in the same place just that they are a low comp piston or something

Tbh, it would be easier to buy a complete 20LET.

yeh true but funds are a bit low just now at they go for around 1000 and thats out the car taking a chance not hearing it running at least if i do it that way i'll know it will prob start lol

The cost wont be far off that to buy the bits.
The turbo goes for like ?100 second hand..

Then pistons, loom, ecu, cams, exhaust manifold etc.

just a full car, then you can break it for bits..

usually cheaper than just buying the engine that way

yeh i know if i could source evrything cheap enough then i'll go for it if not yeh i'll jus have to get the whole car a rot box or something its hard tho as there is too many vauxhall heads on ebay lol and they get snapped up quik. btw does any of you guys know who built my car it was on the cover and featured in total vaux in december past i need to know about the breaks heres a pic

why what brake set up have you got?

not sure mate all i know is that they are 300mm discs with a diferent bell housing thats it really lol i dont know where to get they same disc setup for the rear
