2 ltr 8v conversion

im puttin a 2ltr 8 valve into my corsa sri 8v L reg engines in a calibra at the min but was out of a cav sri mk3 its an seh motor how do i wire the loom in ive been told just unplug the sri engine loom an plug the 2 ltr one back in, is this true

no the engine loom is a seperate loom completeley just get the ecu and loom out the cav and bobs your uncle

Splice/Wire it yourself, you cant expect to plug an engine in, that the car was no designed for.
The wiring is mega easy tho.

didnt think i could i been swappin engines and wiring in fords for years shouldnt be a problem just someone mentioned you can plug it straight up thought id check
